Summer madness

I live in a city of 6 million where people from almost every part of the world are represented, most of the time we get along just fine, with our different views, understandings and belief, exploring each others way of life, the sound of different tongues, different foods, music and art. Sharing is enriching our big community, coming together, finding interest and friendship where there was propaganda and fear. Sunday in the market a Brazilian festival with Salsa bands, Ghanaian food stalls, Turkish kebabs and Polish balloon sellers outside the Italian and Moroccan restaurants, the Pie and Mash shop and the London Pubs. We can live together, working, building our city of people surrounded by big business with its own agenda for change. It's all the individuals that create this fractal peoplescape, seems like somehow the whole world has to do this if its ever going to stop the flow of blood to the war machine.
